Can I drive without passanger seat, airbag problems?

Hi,

To remove the passanger side front seat, I need to disconnect the battery/ turn of the egnition.

Afther removal is it possible to drive with the seat removed?
I.e. reconnect the battery and turn the egnition on without tripping the airbags?

Yes you can but it will still illuminate the airbag warning light

and will probably require faultcodes to be erased from airbag module afterwards

Do you know, if I disable the airbag on the passanger side, will I still get a fault code?

Does anyone know if I can somehow fool the computer by placing a resistor in the connector instead?
How many ohms and where I should put it?

I have done it on a previous car I have owned. The car did not have the ability to switch of the passanger airbag. So when I installed a kid seat and removed the airbag, I installed a resistor in its place to avoid fault codes.

The only advice I'll give is not to mess with airbag systems. Really don't.

measure the airbag with multimeter in resistance mode? I mean the resistance on the connector that ur removing?
i think simple elm327 can clear the codes
