I recently bought a 2013 3-door Blue GT which has the full aircon, MFST, rain sensor and auto-dimming rear view mirror. I want to fit power folding wing mirrors which I have already bought new ones of (6C2857507D9B9 and 6R2857508P)and I also have the switch. I have read different window regulator modules being required, but some mentioned were for a 4-door car (some modules are for sale with the regulator and some on their own), where mine is a 3-door car. With my car's spec, will I still require new regulator modules and does anyone know which ones for my year car and 3-doors?
Thanks for any help and will update with further news!
Which window regulator modules do I need for fitting power folding wing mirrors?

RHD
6R0959802CH .... DD
6R0959801CF .... PD
What is the most important or perhaps the only important?
For example: (also for RHD)
Subsystem 2 - Part No SW: 6R0 959 802 BH HW: 6R0 959 802 BH Labels: 6R0-959-802.CLB
Component: J386__TSG_FT 003 8612
Serial number: KU0KU021021440523980
Coding: 1400B3
Subsystem 3 - Part No SW: 6R0 959 801 BC HW: 6R0 959 801 BC Labels: 6R0-959-801.CLB
Component: J387__TSG_BT 003 8611
Serial number: KU0KU004101300011381
Coding: 0400B3
8 or 9

I guess it will be very difficult to find them.
Keep in mind the 8 or 9 before buying them. It is what makes automatic folding possible.
Check your current ones in the VCDS Autoscan. You will be a lucky guy if they have 8 or 9 in the software (as indicated above).

Re: Which window regulator modules do I need for fitting power folding wing mirrors?
Thank you so much! So helpful! I did actually have the 6R0959801BC and 6R0959802BH written down, but also 6R0959801BD and 6R0959802BF -not sure if they work also? What is the difference between the CH & CF and the BH & BC?

The difference is in the date of manufacture, nothing to consider in the current dates due to this.
BD / BF only for LHD.

Re: Which window regulator modules do I need for fitting power folding wing mirrors?
I have fitted the power folding wing mirrors, the BCM's and the switch. I just need the extra wires added and the coding. Obviously the electrics in the wing mirrors don't work yet, but strangely the LHS wing mirror indicator works, but the RHS does not. Both are new units. Any idea was to why one works and one does not?

Re: Which window regulator modules do I need for fitting power folding wing mirrors?
On the European 6R, the "one side" turn signals (headlight, taillight, outside mirror) are connected by the same wire coming from the BCM, this might give you a clue as to what's going on...
A diagnostic tool is needed to determine the cause of the failure, ... and not having aftermarket LED light assemblies installed, especially those made for the 6R that was sold in the Chinese and other markets.
On the Chinese 6R the turn signals are powered by relays and not by BCM (except the Chinese 6R GTI), so on the Chinese market, these dubious quality LED light assemblies work perfectly, but not on the 6R for the European market.
In other markets, for the 6R (2009-2014), there are other lights that either work powered from the light switch (IND) or also with relays (RUS) depending on the level of equipment.
It seems that VW didn't drop a stitch on all the possibilities to get the lights to work on the 6Rs that were sold around the world.
Even VW invented a mini-BCM for the PQ25 with a single 73-pin connector.

Re: Which window regulator modules do I need for fitting power folding wing mirrors?
I'm trying to get my power folding wing mirrors sorted, as since fitting the new wing mirrors, the switch and window regulator motors, not only does the new folding function not work, the electrical adjustment and heating do not work. I have these wires to add (see attached photo), but where do they need to be fitted? It's a total nightmare trying to find anywhere to do an retro fitting and coding work in UK, as they either don't have the knowledge, they are too busy, too expensive (£100+ an hour) or just don't want the work or mess you around/ignore you!

I would recommend using this post for the wiring, as it is what I followed when I did my retrofit.
I would suggest trying to find someone with VCDS locally to do your coding, maybe on the forum, or maybe with a VW specialist.

Hi rorybrks!
Was the coding in that post you referred to good for a four door uk right hand drive polo also?
Appreciate the assist!
Thanks
