I only have one key, however I also got an identical key that is not for this vehicle.
Can I program it myself or does it need a dealer?

Has this other identical key been previously used/assigned to a car and then just had a new blade (uncut) fitted to it?
If so then I'd think that it will not be possible to reprogram the security pellet in it.
If it is a brand new key, then it should be able to get it programmed, but only at a VW Group dealership if it is a genuine VW Group product.
