Door locking on drivers side

Hi, I have a 2008 polo and the drivers side lock is very intermittent when unlocking and locking it takes a 6 or 7 attempts before it unlocks and sometimes it doesn’t at all and I have to use the passenger door would anybody know what this issue could be.

Most likely a faulty doorlock.
Replace it and it should solve your issue
