Rain closing function needs more actions from you after coding, and the RLS and BCM must have proper HW/SW. -
In 6R, for the rain closing function to work, once the function has been coded in BCM and RLS, it is necessary to reset the
comfort window function (owner manual) on all doors again. It can be done from the driver's door window switches.
The result is that only the windows are closed in case of rain.
IMHO, this and other functions due to leaving the car open in the wild are mildly intelligent functions.
I know people like to leave their cars open in their natural spaces, I guess so the interiors don't reek of human activity or avoid extreme temperatures, but leaving the car open/ventilated is perfect so that all the interior parts end up in a deplorable state due to dust or humidity.
