Hi, my daughter has a 2015 1.2 fsi dsg, whilst stuck in traffic the low tyre pressure light came on and the gear shift lights started flashing and she lost all drive, moved the selector lever and the car stuck in park, ended up calling the AA and got towed home, the AA man and two other people since have plugged in diagnostic machines but have no communication with the TCM or the TPMS, the car sometimes starts and other times it won’t, fuses in the under bonnet and under the dash have been checked and are all ok, has anyone else had this problem?
Also two other mechatronic (brains) have been plugged in to check for communication but neither of them did, any help would be much appreciated,
Thank you

Re: Dsg stuck in park
Sound like your mechatronic (shifting robot) is defective.
Re: Dsg stuck in park
That’s what I thought but before a new one was bought the garage has tried plugging in two other units and neither of them can communicate through the obd port to the diagnostic machines, everything else on the car does apart from the tyre pressure system

Any luck with this? I'm having the same issue
