I guess it won't be the FK....

My Polo is fairly similar to yours and the std grille and badge doesn't look ungainly but I think the black badge is a subtle factory looking improvement.

i like the OE look, black is more stealthy and will suit ur wheels..... :wink:

id say the black badge, it gves ur car some character and looks gd at the same time, although, personally id go for the sports grill

I would go for the Fk! but true what LJ_87 says, The car looses some character.

I took a hacksaw blde to the grill surround and boded mesh onto the back then sprayed it black. (bit cheaper for simmmilar effect.)

Were is the best place to get a black one? or is it a case of stripping the old one of its chrome?

Down the bottom of the forum - post a Queston for Martyn at Vagparts - it's sooo much easier to buy a black one new from VW parts than to respray a chrome one - plus if you sell teh car you can convert it back to std real easy :wink:
