Thank you very much for posting the image.👌

- Before removing the pressure sensor, depress the brake pedal several times.
- With both hands and a little common sense, remove the pressure sensor.

Warning!
Do not break the retaining tabs that hold the pressure sensor to the hose under any circumstances, or you will have to hopelessly change 'all the vacuum hoses'.

Have safely removed the clip from the sensor and sprayed the contact cleaner, then refitted but unfortunately that hasn't fixed it.

What are the best steps to safely remove the actual sensor?

did you have any corrosion in the connector or it was clean?
I've found the interdental brushes for teeth perfectly fit in the connectors and clean them...

Tried that now but unfortunately the same outcome. What is odd is that the car had the same issues three weeks ago and I found that battery was well down on charge and had that replaced with a correct specification Stop/Start battery. After that Stop/Start worked fine for ten days until now its started to play up again.

It may or may not be related.

Out of curiosity, can you tell us who replaced the battery?
Any other maintenance labor to declare since the diagnosed fault began? ... for example, change the air filter ...

By the way, did you try to clear the fault with the diagnostic tool after cleaning the contact terminals of the connector?

Hi, just to confirm I have now removed all the codes and then restarted the engine and the Stop/Start error returns immediately.

Nothing else has been changed.

Waiting on the sensor now and will update when it arrives.

Many thanks
