How to re-fix headliner to roof?
How to re-fix headliner to roof?
The headliner on my 2016 Polo has partially split from the roof where a dash cam was installed a few years ago. Any advice on how to re-fix it to where it should be?

Why does VW not tuck this up into the liner or include a retaining strip? Absolutely annoying. I bet it's typical VW cost cutting.
Even my later 80s Audi had a retaining edge on the liner.

I wish I knew why
It would be nice if an aftermarket strip existed!

We're not alone.
You can get generic rubber edge banding which is usually used to grommets. Not sure how that'd work out.
I'll probably look into that when I drop the headliner at some point to add some noise barrier up there.
