Steps to remove climate control unit trim?

Do I have to remove the trim around the infotainment unit before removing the trim around the climate control unit in my 2016 Polo? I am trying to get rear access to the climate control buttons as they are sticking and I want to clean them or lubricate them. Could anyone provide the exact removal steps? I don’t want to damage anything.

yeah remove radio frame, remove clima frame, remove the screws that go in the bottom of your climate panel and you can take it out.

there is a screw underneath, but when you try to pull the unit its hard i think there are cables for the flaps.
