Broken back bench

I’m trying to remove the back bench seat in my polo , the latch and spring bit is gone where u would pull to fold the bench , I have seen people take a screwdriver to the back to free up a clip however I don’t see this clip/ latch the one I can see is in a infinity shape and I can’t seem to pry it off ,if anyone knows where this is please let me know ,
