Hi everyone, first post and I have a problem.
Recently bought myself a 2010 1.2 tdi bluemotion. And noticed the battery flat in the morning.
I then noticed the engine cooling fan would run after I drove it. It didn't matter if it was 100 miles or just moving it of the drive. The fan would start running after I locked the car and not stop till the battery was flat.
Has anyone had this issue before?
I've checked the fuses and fan connections. No codes when I've read the ecu memories.
Any help would be much appreciated. I was wondering if it was a relay/fan module but have no wiring diagram to trace it back.
Cheers Trev

Re: 1.2 tdi bluemotion cooling fan issue
the 1.2 bluemotion tdi has a fan controller in the center of the fan. they are known to fail. might be worthwhile to have a look at the connector first for corrosion.

Cheers iichel,
I've checked the connections and all ok. You wouldn't have a wiring diagram for it would you?
