Hi,
new member here from Melbourne Australia, new to VW (if we exclude a couple of Beetles in the early '70s).
Recently bought a great 2007 9n3 automatic, with low kilometres.. Been scouring the web and forums to learn all about it.. One thing I'm confused about, most references I see say that this model is a MK4 (Gen 4..?) while in this forum it is called MK7, anyone willing to explain, please?
thanx,
lm

Only the forum refers to it as mk7. In England and the rest of the UK it’s known as a mk4 - same as it is in the Netherlands and elsewhere.
