Good morning!
I'm new to this forum, I don't know if I created this topic correctly or in the right place. I have a problem that I have been dealing with for more than 9 months. At first it was intermittent and came and went occasionally, but now it is continuous...
The issue is that we no longer know where to go, I have a Volkswagen Polo 6R TDI 1.9 with 105 hp from 2010, the main problem is that the car is working well at idle (sometimes it has an irregular idle but almost always since I bought it it was like this ) but when you walk with it or go on the road (there is no pattern that causes it to fail) the heater + tire pressure + traction control warning light goes off and the car goes into emergency mode that you cannot exceed 80-100km/ h or go above 3000rpm. But it can also cause the car to stop moving and all these warning lights plus the engine failure warning light appear.
When we passed the VAGCOM there was a fault in the camshaft sensor, it was cleaned and it still failed, isn't it better to change it? Reading around, they suggest a change of the belt kit since it could have loosened or become more elastic and that is why there are those sudden engine stops in operation (the belt was made at 150,000km and currently has 247,000km). It may also be that the wiring from that sensor is damaged to the control unit,
If anyone has any ideas, I really appreciate it.
Thank you very much in advance.
PS: I don't currently have the Vagcom log but as soon as I have it I'll paste it here.

Did you replace the camshaft sensor?
On my old Polo 9N3 I had the same warning lights, after replacing it was OK.
The sensor detects if the UDP is met if I'm correct
When it fails to detect this, the engine will not start to prevent damage.

Hello!
Thank you very much for the response, no, the sensor has not been changed, it was cleaned, but there is nothing more to it than that.
The issue is that the car has always been able to start, there were times when it was more difficult or other times it started normally.
At idle the car does not stop at times or the fault occurs, but when you go out on the road it starts to fail and the fault randomly occurs or the car stalls while driving.
Do you suggest that these problems could be from the sensor? If so, I'll try changing it directly haha
Thanks again!!

Re: Help! Heater warning light + Tire pressure + traction control + engine warning light
It could be, it worked for my car then.
Sometimes it started and sometimes it didn't.
If you have (if I remember correctly) the G40 sensor problem in the VCDS scan it could very well be your problem

Yes, it is the G40 sensor. I'll try to change it and let you know. Thanks for the contribution!!

It should be on top of the engine, on mine it was on the right side if you stand in front of the car, torx T25 if I remember it (
