Two Thermostats
Can someone provide info on the above, one, in the main cooling circuit (sometimes called the Outer Circuit) openes at 87C and a example part number may be 04 E 121 113G, the second stat in the "small circuit" (Inner Circuit) seems to open at 97C, example part number 04 E 121 113N, what cooling circuits do they control?

VW
All EA211 engines have separate cylinder block and cylinder head cooling circuits, wonder what alarm is flagged if the cylinder block stat should fail shut?, maybe a high oil temperature alarm?. If interested look up VW SSP 820333 pdf.

Re: Two Thermostats
Something new to me, not heard of two circuits before. Obviously a clever idea to get the engine up to temperature quickly, which it certainly does. Not too keen on the problems which might come up after 5+ years of ownership...
