Note:
Under observation or until my wife tells me to remove these things from the car.
There is a shortage of puddles around here at this time of year, but it wasn't hard to find a place disgusting enough to simulate puddles and check out the effect of the VW logos.
At the moment only installed on the front doors.
1- They are relatively pleasant. The VW logo is too bright in dark places and just right in places with more outside light.
2- The warning light is more powerful than the one I had installed. I think this suits me.
3- The effect produced by the combination of colors is very striking.

Golf 7.5. Heated mirrors. Blind Spot.
I currently have these Golf 7/7.5 mirrors available at home:
- I have several of the standard originals, I don't know how many (2 or 3 pairs).
- I recently bought the blue anti-dazzle mirrors since I really liked the blue anti-dazzle ones I installed on the 6R.
- I also recently bought the 'Original' VW mirrors with BSD warning light which I will keep as a spare. The BSD warning light in these new Original VW mirrors is improved - I think a new gel? or similar technology is applied - compared to the BSD warning lights on the old 'Original' VW mirrors that I have installed for quite some time.
Since I recently installed the mirror housings with the BSD WL from the Passat B8 (

When I bought the Golf 7 blue mirrors on Ali, I was forced to buy something of little value and spend a little more so that the order of the blue mirrors would get a very huge/magnificent discount on those special days on Ali when you can get extraordinary coupons (8, 12, 20, 40, etc.).

Isn't it true that the rear door contacts are managed by the BCM? So I'm wondering why I would want to install a rear door module or something similar to manage a single light (W/Ex L) knowing that the rest of the rear door lights can be managed in different ways without an additional rear door module.
Let's allow the BCM to do its job.

Since I have to wire the rear doors for exterior handle illumination, I take the opportunity to wire the rear door warning lights "correctly" so I don't hear any complaints or whining about how I wired the rear door warning lights.
Note:
- If you wire the rear door warning lights like I did, you don't have to worry at all, it works and will work fine until the end of time.

Despite being a BCM High (DD H38) it does not have pins 61, 35, 36, 37. It's not a definitive hell, but it is one more annoyance.
At least it serves as a starting point so you know from which Hardware these AMBL pins are available.

I also updated the datasets, but I want to find more recent ones.

The BCMs I have:
- DA_H38. From factory. Updated to FW EC_0511, you get a BCM with FW_DS. With FW EC_1513 it loses the firmware name (----------).
- DD_H38. Second hand, from a Tiguan. When it was still possible to install used BCMs (it is no longer possible). Updated to FW EC_1513.
- DH_H40. New, currently installed in our Golf. Updated to FW EC_1513 (see last autoscan posted). Same PINOUT as BCM EC_H44.
H38:
DA, no pins for heated seats, no pins for coloured ambient lights and no 4 additional AMBL pins.
DD, missing 4 additional AMBL pins.
These two BCMs are no longer useful because second-hand BCMs can no longer be reused, they are junk/scrap, except if I use them for my mini test bench (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle ♻).
Since DD supports FW EC_1513 I intend to install the 4 additional AMBL pins by removing them from the DA BCM, this way I can do specific tests at home instead of on the vehicle, ...which is infinitely better.

They are not extremely perfect, but enough to make them look that way, nothing to point out on the negative side.
A bit nicer than the originals, but not as nice as the anti-dazzle blue mirrors I installed on the 6R.
At first I needed to get used to the fact that the passenger mirror is also convex to see the blind spot, I had to regulate this mirror a little differently than I'm used to.
I have not tested the anti-dazzle feature yet (at night).
Once the heated mirror function has been tested, I do an Autoscan.

All the notes from the 'engineers' were positive evaluations of all the vehicle systems, both in visual inspections and checks with those torture devices for the undercarriage, as other checks with other devices, ... it seemed to me that they were looking for something that they did not find and that they were not going to find.
The most striking thing was that in the section on the general condition of the vehicle they have rated it as normal but not good (as usual in my cars), which makes me suspect the intention of the 'engineers'. Our Golf is near to impeccable condition.

VAS 6154A vs VNCI 6154A.
It is the same tool.
The VNCI 6154A can change the serial number if it is blocked, the device manager program is required (available on the official website). Correct quality, but not exceptional, a solid 'toy' that will last for many years.
The VAS 6154A is seen to be of a slightly better quality, we could say 'more OEM', which also has a better '4 meter' USB cable (previous post). Operation LEDs on both sides.
I prefer it in case of use in wireless modes.
-Both have a button to switch the operating mode in case of wireless connection, WLAN AP or HOTSPOT.
-Both work with the 'Original drivers' and therefore with the different ODIS versions, including the most recent ones.
-They are not VCX tools, both are detected as VAS 6154A (USB ports, etc).
-Easy configuration and PERFECT operation in all possible modes.
As usual nowadays, ODIS programs are easily installed following the video tutorials, now it is easier because of the Drivers issue, a couple of small tricks (not important) at the end of the installation so that everything flows quickly (updates).
-OS 23/OE 17 and higher versions work much faster than OS 7/OE 12 versions.
-You can configure VAS 6154A and VNCI 6154A on the same device (laptop, etc.).
