Polo 1.6 Diesel TDI (help)

I started hearing a noise a few months ago and fought nothing off it. Now it’s started getting louder and I was getting concerned. I took it to a local garage and they said it was the “duel master flywheel” they quoted me “around £500” for parts and “£200 labour” I wanted to get a different quote while I thought about it. This other garage told me my car doesn’t have a “duel master flywheel” it will only need a “full clutch kit” which he quoted “£140” for parts and “£150 labour”
I’m not sure what to believe. I am not sure if my car has one or it doesn’t! I’ve looked on parts online with my Reg and it does say some flywheels fit my reg. I’m just confused and looking for answers on what I should do.
