Fitting LED headlights

Hello I am new to this forum. I have a 2011 LHD 6R 1.6 TDI with CAYC engine first registered in France but now in Greece where I am at present. There may be no UK equivalent. It has dummy fog lights which only have holes for the 21w DRLs. No unused loom behind the lights and the light switch has only 1 pull out position which works the rear fog, so it is not practical to fit proper front fog lights. The headlights are weak and I want to upgrade them with LEDs. There is no bulb monitoring system and I think the car was built to a low spec for a car rental company. What is the best way to upgrade the headlights.
