Progressive Steering

Just wondering does the current Polo GTi have progressive steering?

I can’t see it mentioned in VW’s media information document for the GTI;

Me neither. Google AI (whatever that is really) says yes but doesn't back it up with any facts. I had it in my previous car and it does feel like the Polo has it too (maybe), hence the question

I’ve also found the original UK press information pack for the pre-facelift GTI and GTI+; link below;

https://www.vwpress.co.uk/assets/docume ... nalweb.pdf

I did wonder if the media information document for the current facelift GTI only focused on specific facelift changes over the pre-facelift car. If so, then that could explain why there’s no mention of progressive steering - assuming it was a feature of the pre-facelift car that was just carried over. However……………..I can’t see any reference to progressive steering for the pre-facelift GTI /GTI+’s media information document either, so that suggests neither the pre-facelift nor current car had / has it.

Interesting to see the difference in the quality of the pre and post facelift media documents; the pre-facelift one is a glossy coloured document with pictures whereas the equivalent for the post-facelift car is a much condensed black and white text-only document. I know that historically, VW have made little cost cutting changes throughout the lifecycle of their vehicles as part of model year changes and mid life facelifts, but it seems that VW’s media department isn’t immune from cost cutting either…………….🤔

How true looking at and comparing the two documents
