My daughter purchased 2017 1.4 TDI Polo 6R this week (previously she had a 2010 1.6 TDI) When I try to scan it with VCDS I get an error on the CAN Gateway

Because of the fault I cant do any adjustments on that module (greyed out) as I wanted to change the stop/start voltage to stop it functioning. I've been in contact with VCDS support and their only suggestion was to see if there was a GPS tracker or Black Box module piggybacking onto the ODB port. I've checked around today and cannot see anything.
Just wondered if anybody else had seen anything similar previously. All other modules scan OK
Cheers Dave
