Skoda Rapid BCM Max Adaptation. 6R093708P upgrade 7h0937090d BUT!

Post by omerkartal »

hello guys
I have a 2014 Model Skoda Rapid vehicle.
Own original BCM unit 6R093708P. The rain and headlight sensor I use is 1K0955559AH. The rain sensor worked but the headlight sensor did not work. In my vehicle, we converted the headlight switch from 17 pins to 10 pins. I replaced BCM with 7h0937090d. Like the diagram made by Cichlo for POLO 6r. But unfortunately, the headlight switch does not receive a command from the BCM and the switch does not turn on the headlights. Even when we want to turn on the headlights manually, they do not turn on.
can you help me?

Images of my vehicle and Original BCM Auto scan are in the link below.

Hello omerkartal.

Have you installed the NEW wire I told you about in the sales thread?
From T17/11 or T10/1 to ---> T73b/52. (isolate T73b/52 original)
It is missing from your original T17 connector... it is present, but not in the right place for a BCM Max (just to be clear).
This wire is the signal to be able to activate the windshield wipers and 'headlights' (SRA and FL, nomenclature in German).

What installation guide for BCM Max Adaptation have you used?
The installation guide for 6R auto lights wiring is not the same as the installation guides for BCM Max Adaptation...

Do you also have an Autoscan with your BCM Max (089H/090D) and RLS installed?

I changed it to its original state because I needed to use the car. I will connect it again next week and share the connection points and errors with a video. Thank you for your answer. I will write here instantly while the process is being done, I hope we come across each other :)

Before we do these operations, I want to get training from you. How can I turn my 17 pin switch into 10 pin? Is the scheme in Polo valid or do I need a new scheme?

I'm usually here regularly, but forums are not instant messaging like other social networks where practically nothing makes sense and IMHO an absolute fraud at the user level.
Forums are usually used to share knowledge that requires wisdom, experience and will, and in no case instant messaging.

I know exactly what needs to be done to get it 100% on your Skoda Rapid, due to my experience it took me about ten minutes to study the diagrams you shared, but the problem is explaining it to you so that you understand it and then you do it correctly, which requires a great effort and a time that I am not willing to do/share again as I did so many times in previous years.

I can only help you solve problems derived from the installations already carried out and related coding, which is the most difficult/resolutive part.

Think about it before trying again, I think you have a big job/study ahead of you because there are no guides for what you have to do.
Easy decision to make, if you don't understand the original diagrams because you don't know how the lights (all) are managed through the BCM, don't try it again.

Actually, my exact problem is that I couldn't lower the 17 pin socket to 10 pin. Because the sensor detects rain and operates the wipers on both BCMs. Can you please support me on how to convert from 17 pin to 10 pin. As I said, I believe we can solve the problems step by step. I trust you, so I want to upgrade the BCM again and proceed according to your instructions.

To convert the 17 pin connector to a 10 pin connector in order to use an AUTO light switch (PQ25) it is mandatory to perform a previous adaptation/modification of the wiring in several lights so that they can be managed by a BCM Max (BCM Max wiring adaptation).

The error you mention about the windshield wipers being activated in both BCMs is because something is not installed correctly (wiring) or the sensor is defective, it should not happen.

A clue, in the wiring diagrams you have for the Skoda Rapid you have to go/convert from 7L3 models to 7L6 models in the 'exterior lighting' (search term in the PDF) for all the lights. Compare 7L3 with 7L6.
From May 2014 you have the SK Rapid diagrams with T10 connectors instead of T17, also make a comparison.

Then I recommend you to do a comparison of all the lights in the diagrams for the VW Transporter up to 2014. You will see a lot of coincidences and you will find that the VW Transporter (T5.1) uses a relay for the automatic lighting and the T10 connector. These T5.1 use the BCM 7H0937090D.

---

My automatic light wiring for 6R is for 'VW' PQ25 that already came from the factory with BCM Max (Bixenon) or are BlueMotion (7L6).
Later, for those with non BCM Max, I developed the wiring adaptation of the BCM to Max as you can see in my installation guides for this purpose.

I will share my knowledge with you publicly but I am not going to develop the wiring adaptation for BCM Max of your Skoda Rapid, it must be done by you.

Hello ciclo
thank you very much for your answer. Next week, we will apply the steps you mentioned one by one. I will write down all the problems we will encounter here. Thank you very much in advance for your support.

Thanks for letting me know, between today and tomorrow I'll try to explain the process to you using diagrams.
Anything you see circled/marked in blue on the diagrams are New wires that you absolutely must install.

It will be a 'From-To' format.

I'll start the diagrams from the back of the car to the front.
- Reverse light.
- License plate light.
- Rear fog light.
- etc...

Stay tuned for my next posts over the next three days...

I need a clear picture of your SK Rapid SB fusebox, please, as clear as possible.

You have two possible wiring adaptations for retrofitting BCM Max and Auto lights, one is the evolution of the other depending on the BCM Max model, 7H0 vs 7E0 (...<<2014>>...).
The BCM Max 7H0937090D is an intermediate step -VW almost always does these things/tests in a sneaky way-.
BCM 7H0...D can be flashed to 7E0 latest model ...E FW (tested).
Clarification:
The 7E0 can work like any 7H0 but not the other way around (except as mentioned above due to flashing).

Please tell me again the 'exact part number' of BCM Max you are going to install. Thanks.

Hello friend, I uploaded the photo of the fuse box to Googledrive. There is also a photo of the 7h0937090d coded BCM that we use.
