Re: Skoda Rapid BCM 6R093708P upgrade 7h0937090d BUT!
I have known the 3C8941431A switch for 12 years, it is the first one I had for my 6R PQ25 Auto Lights. But as I have mentioned, the five VW models I know for PQ25 will not fit your dash properly, they have a red backlight and not green, and there is also a small difference in the electrical wiring for these switches that would never be compatible directly with the SK switches.
You can buy the 5JA941431A on eBay, there are offers for this switch, second hand and new.
There is no point in doing things wrong from the beginning. Buy the right switch for SK.

Re: Skoda Rapid BCM 6R093708P upgrade 7h0937090d BUT!
The challenge is to go from T17 to T10.
FROM: This T17 light switch. (7L3),(K8B)

TO: This T10 light switch (AUTO). (7L3),(K8B),(8K9),(9C2)

To achieve this, you first need to make several modifications to the original wiring so that you can install and code a BCM Max correctly.
As the final target is to be able to have automatic lights, it is also necessary to make the modified wiring compatible with a new wiring for automatic lights. Two relays are needed (as usual in my automatic lights diagram for 6R) because the front fog lights are not under BCM control 'in this case'.

Can't we do this job without 5JA941431A?

The light switches AUTO compatible with 'VW' PQ25 are:
- 3C8941431A
- 5ND941431B
- 6RD941431
- 6RD941431A
- 5ND941431E (PQ25), be careful, for some strange NON-OEM china reason, this switch with the same original reference is also manufactured with electronics for PQ26/27/MQB... what the ....and I'm not referring to copies.
It is possible, do what is in your power.

Will we make an update for bcm? Or should we plug it directly and use it?
I think you stated in the post below that you will send a flash file, if I don't misunderstand.

Re: Skoda Rapid BCM 6R093708P upgrade 7h0937090d BUT!
Between today and tomorrow I'll post the Adaptation of BCM Max for your SK Rapid Spaceback 2014. I'm preparing it right now.
I've already taken into account the SCLs (static cornering lights).
It's not necessary to flash your current BCM Max 7H0937090D, however I never said I would send the flash file for 7E0937090E FW, I do not give away this flash file, maybe you can get it another way...
The giveaways are only for those who buy my wiring harnesses. This thread is specially 'shared' publicly for you and for those SK Rapid owners who in the future want to buy the wiring harnesses I make.
For you and many other users, 'as forum users', I have already given you several diamonds in the form of information in this thread.
... the only way to get a rabbit out of a hat is to have previously put the rabbit in the hat ...
---
Please tell me what you think about what you just read, do you think I'm being selfish? or do you think my generosity should not be abused?

Re: Skoda Rapid BCM 6R093708P upgrade 7h0937090d BUT!
BCM Max Adaptation. SK Rapid NH 2014. by ciclo (omerkartal)
Based on original SK wiring diagrams for SK Rapid NH PQ25 2012-->.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... kaslD4sbOY
-BCM 7H0937090D
-Light switch AUTO. 1-SK model 5JA941431A (T10 RED connector, 6R0972930A), 2-VW model (T10 BLACK connector).
-From original T17 light switch connector to new T10 light switch connector. viewtopic.php?p=606872#p606872
It is mandatory to install the following new wires.
Do not attempt to reuse original wires unless otherwise stated, they may have interconnections that are not needed at all.
When necessary, refer to the auto light diagram for proper wire routing in the COUPLINGS.
---
Reverse Light.
Only models with manual gearbox.
-New wire 1.0mm2 from T73b12 to T6c/1 and T6d/1. Remove/isolate originals T6c/1 and T6d/1.
---
License plate lights.
- New wire 0.5mm2 from T73b/7 to '2' contact terminal of both license plate lights. Remove/isolate originals '2'.
IMP: If you cut the two original '2' wires from the license plate lights and splice the new wire T73b/7 to the '2' wires in the trunk area
so as not to remove the rear bumper, you 'must' insulate the cut wires, they are still live for other lights.
---
Rear Fog light.
- Remove original T17/9, cut the contact terminal.
- New wire 1.0mm2 from T73a/6, splice to removed T17/9.
- New wire 0.5mm2 from T73b/43 to new T10/5 RED connector, or new T10/7 BLACK connector.
---
DRL (TFL).
- Remove/isolate original T17/3.
- New wire 0.5mm2 from new T10/9 connector to T73b/29.
- New wire 0.5mm2 from T73b/3 to T10a/4 of left headlight connector. Remove/Isolate original T10a/4.
- New wire 0.5mm2 from T73a/5 to T10b/4 of right headlight connector. Remove/Isolate original T10b/4.
----
Front Fog with SCLs (in this case, if you want).
- Splice a new 0.75mm2 wire into SB38a (in-wire), remove the fuse forever and run this new wire to T73a/7.
- New wire 1.5mm2 from T73b/9 to 1 of left fog light. Remove/isolate original 1 left fog light.
- New wire 1.5mm2 from T73b/10 to 1 of right fog light. Remove/isolate original 1 right fog light.
---
Interior Lights.
- New 1.0mm2 wire from T73b/4 to removed T17/16 and T17/13. Splice the three wires at the same point. (58d/58)
---
Low Beam.
In this case, we will use the fuses SB46 and SB47 to supply +30 where we needed.
Another way would be to bring a new 4.0mm2 wire from the battery and distribute the +30 power appropriately (with original parts, 6R0937530A).
- New wire 1.5mm2 from SB46b to 7 RED COUPLING slot. SB46, New fuse 15A. See diagram (below).
- Two new wires 2.5mm2 from SB47b to SB57a and SB58a. Remove/isolate originals SB57a and SB58a. SB47, New fuse 40A.
- Remove SB57b and SB58b wires.
- New wire 2.5mm2 from SB57b slot to T73a/63.
- New wire 2.5mm2 from SB58b slot to T73b/68.
- New wire 1.5mm2 from T73a/2 to removed SB57b wire.
- New wire 1.5mm2 from T73b/2 to removed SB58b wire.
- Splice New wire 0.5mm2 into SB36a and route it to T73a/62.
- Remove/isolate T17/4.
---
Signals. Wiring for Automatic lights.
Check diagram for automatic lights for correct wire routing in COUPLINGS.
- New 0.5mm2 wire from T73b/52 to new T10/1 connector. Remove/isolate yellow/green original T73b/52. (SRA, FL)
- New 0.5mm2 wire from T73a/37 to new T10/2 connector. (AUTO)
- Remove T17/14 and insert in new T10/3 connector with the correct contact terminal. (58)
- Remove T17/1 and insert in new T10/4 connector with the correct contact terminal. (+15/75X)
- Remove T17/8 and insert in 3 RED COUPLING slot. Wire from new T10/5 BLACK connector or new T10/7 RED connector to Relay. (F fog)
- Remove T17/10 and insert in new T10/6 connector with the correct contact terminal. (Ground)
- New wire 0.5mm2 from T73b/43 to new T10/7 BLACK connector or new T10/5 RED connector. (R Fog)
- Remove AND isolate T17/15. The thickness of this original wire is inappropriate, a new 1.5mm2 wire is required. See diagram (below). (+30)
- New wire 0.5mm2 from new T10/9 connector to T73b/29. (DRL)
- Remove T17/17 and insert in new T10/10 connector with the correct contact terminal. (58/58d)

Note:
I did not make the wiring harnesses for omerkartal. He was just lucky to have my technical support because it is my first SK Rapid for automatic lights and BCM Max adaptation, and mainly because we share this thread publicly for everyone who needs it. Read the entire thread and think about whether you want/need my technical support.

When you finish the electrical installation I will code your BCM Max.
A couple of codings will be necessary so "I can faithfully verify" that what has been installed works in the correct way.
You will have to tell me if you have installed any lamps other than the original ones. Thanks.
