Changes for 2025

Post by lancslad1985 »

I see the polo gti is now available in reflex silver for this year. Are there any other changes they’ve made for 2025?

@lanclad1985; You fancy a silver one then?

I see on the configurator that heated leather seats are also now an option on the GTI at a cost of £1,345.

I’ll leave it to other forum members who either have ordered - or are considering ordering - a new GTI to comment on any other changes there might be, although it’s very quiet in this section of the forum these days so it’s possible no one else will post 😕. There’s a certain irony that two of the more frequent posters (i.e. you and me) on this forum board aren’t Polo or VW owners!

I see there’s also a new trim level too in the Polo model range - the Polo Black Edition.

Haha what I want and what I should get are two different things. I love the polo gti (I’ve had enough of them let’s be fair) but my back doesn’t and the road noise drives my wife mad. Certainly looks nice in silver. Wanted a golf gti but Mrs L wanted a new bathroom instead.

Yeah the forum seems to have gone very quiet, such a shame. Hopefully someone has ordered a new one and can update on it. Also seems pricey now - it’s similar cost to my cx30 that’s much bigger and more refined with better kit level.

Agree, it’s sad it’s so quiet. The forum board for the previous generation 6R / 6C Polo still seems to be quite active.

Turn the clock back 3-4 years or more and this forum board was pretty busy with lots of discussion between forum members on all things Polo-related, but sadly that no longer seems to be the case. Some owners will have moved on if they’re no longer Polo owners. Maybe other owners prefer to interact with other Polo owners via social media such as Facebook or Instagram?

It would be good to hear how forum members who’ve recently bought or taken delivery of their cars are getting on with them and if they meet their expectations, along with any specific likes or dislikes and any issues / niggles that are spoiling the ownership experience? There’s a wealth of knowledge on the forum, so it’s such a shame not to use it.

Sorry for going off topic, but it would be interesting to hear other forum member’s views on the reasons for lack of posting.
