Hi all, please could you help.
Using the headlight dip adjustment below the steering wheel, I can hear the drivers side motor making a whirring noise but nothing happening. I can’t see the left hand one working at all.
Checked the fuses, both are new and intact.
Would you suggest changing both the motors? Or could this be a faulty switch?
Would be grateful for any help.
Thanks

Have you inspected the adjusters to see if they are seated/fixed properly/intact? Have any bulbs been changed recently? Not sure if a test meter on the local connections might help. For parts like that I tend to replace the broken one only else you'll be forever doing extra work on an old vehicle. BTW, what engine/transmission is it and what is your average mpg?

Probably adjusted manually too far, and got disconnected from the thread
Depending on the brand (Valeo/Hella/etc) you could look in the headlight.
If you need to take out the headlight, the bumper must be removed (partially) to gain access to the screws
