Hiya Guys. No idea if I’m posting this in the right place, if I’m not then apologies.
Ok. The CGPB engine has a oil level sensor hole at the bottom of the cam chain cover. I’m removing the engine tomorrow and replacing with another supplied by the customer. However, the cam chain cover doesn’t have a hole for the oil level sensor. Question is, can I bypass the sensor?
I can’t fit the old cam chain cover as the mount is damaged.
Ever come across this? I think the supplied engine is from a seat (oil filler cap has seat logo on it.
Thanks in advance.

Easy fix (replying to myself just incase anyone has the same issue).
Change oil level sensor from instrument cluster to ECU via VCDS. Done.
