Passenger footwell trim

Post by stucktrim »

Hello

I'm struggling to reattach this piece of trim in my passenger footwell.

There is a bit on the back of the panel which protrudes and I think should line up with the larger circular cutout in the metal but if I place it there the rest of it doesn't marry up with the other trim running alongside the door.

If I make the panel line up with the trim alongside the door this piece sticking out doesn't line up with the hole and just squashes against the metal.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with removing and reattaching this part and can help me out please.

You need to remove the top clip (in this case, black instead of white) and insert it into the trim. It's a kind of plastic spike that you can remove with a large fork if you don't have the proper tools to remove it.

Happy weekend everyone! :)
