Gently press the terminal tab. There are normally two travels.
It should come out relatively easily.

If you find yourself pulling the wire too hard, you're doing something wrong.

When reinserting the wires, first check that the tab is at the correct angle. You can use a utility knife blade to reposition it. Gently.

Ok does it need some other clips to be removed before that step? Besidea that on the picture rhat I pulled of?

The original connector is 8E0 972 112, but in this wiring they have used another original 8W0 which is compatible.

Since I see you have no experience with VW connectors, you must do this job very meticulously. Do not use improvised tools to remove the terminals or you will end up breaking the connector, ...and the installation is over until 'you install a new connector with terminals'.


It's intriguing that you decided to do this installation without basic knowledge... I suppose there has to be a first time for doing something unfamiliar.

Ahhh...So I must give up today from removing it....I do not have real tools for it..there is now improvised tool? Nidle?

There are many, all those you have at your disposal and your imagination knows how to handle, but none are recommended.

Don't do it until you have the appropriate tools.

As I mentioned before, if the bars aren't displaying correctly on the screen, you need to swap the T3/2 wires that run from the PDC sensors to the PDC module. Just use the logic of figuring out which sensor corresponds to the displayed bars.

'For example':
1234 but they're displayed on the opposite side of the screen. It's simple: reposition the T3/2 wires, connecting 4 to 1, 3 to 2, 2 to 3, and 1 to 4 at the PDC unit connector.

Create your own correspondence diagram beforehand.

Ahhjh...wait for the new tool? Okkk..I must this because of my problem with T3/2 wires for the rear..you told me how but I did not know the tool is needed. I checked the pdf scheme and it says that 2, 3, 4, 5 pins are the ones that I must exchange between them. Pin 2 to pin 5, pin 5 to pin 2 etc..whyyyy did they did it in the oposite way?

Presumably, the kit you purchased should also include a connector/coupling to be able removing/installing the bumper, you can also swap the PDC sensor CTRL wires there.
If you want, show us the connector/coupling (T6?).

With the right tools and after studying the diagrams, swapping the wires shouldn't take more than 10 minutes... maybe less, depending on your skills with contact terminals.

Sorry but I am confused now. You already told me two posts up and I showed you the connector for the rear senzors that goes in the pdc modul. Six wires in T12 connector. What other connector are you talking about?

This T6 (3B0) is the coupling I'm referring to... in case your aftermarket wiring harness has it.

From the picture It seems that I have that conncector on the front senzors and it goes through the engine bax and in to the cabine. I was wondering how will I pull it through in to the cabine? It is really big part.
