I bought my daughter a 1.2 TDI 6R RHD 55KW Polo CFWA. The abs light was on but i figured it was an easy fix... mechanic I took it to says that the ABS pump has been changed and not coded to the car. I can see from threads below that codes are available but I dont know where to get them or can anyone help me out? The VIN is WVWZZZ6RCUO34751

Well you need to write the model of your abs pump
Front brake size, rear brake size, gearbox, lhd, rhd...
esp? Tire pressure?
You will need a diagnostic tool, to input the coding for abs. I will probably take a few attempts.

And please dont be like most of users, get get the code, fix the problem and dont post results.
It really helps us all, with feedback on given information.

Can anyone supply the code given this - or where can I go to get it - i assume the dealership will mug me off unless they replace it?

The dealer can program it in minutes. They might charge you 1hr of labor, or diagnostic cost. Best to give them a call, and explain that you need abs pump to be coded to the car.
Unless you can get a diagnostic tool that can read the pump, hex can, launch, obd11, vas5054a- etc. There are many.

OK its 9 months later and now the MOT is due and I have tried the codes you guys kindly provided - is tehre any way of finding out? Lucj=kily she still has not passed her test - but the rest is in a month and she wiull defo need ABS!

If you find vcds, you should use custom lbl file for esp8.2 coding.
Here you can download zip with lbl's for lots of different ABS types. Of course, you need 6Rx-907-37x-ESP82.lbl
Replace lbl with xml and put it into %vcds%\datadb\user
