Hi all looking for a bit of help regarding a really annoying rattle coming from the panoramic roof area. My wife has owned the 2019 Polo GTI+ from new and recently, well in the last 18 months has developed a rattle from the panoramic roof area. I have checked everything I can to make sure its all tight and no unwanted stones or anything in the mechanism but the one thing I have noticed is at the rear of the panoramic roof when its open I notice a rubber tube on the passenger side. On the drivers side however I see the grooves where the rubber tube would possible fit but no rubber tube installed. Im wondering if someone with the panoramic roof could do me a favour and just check theirs and see if this rubber tube should be on both sides.
If anyone has come across the same issue it would also be helpful if you have any idea what it could be as it's driving me crazy when i'm in her car.

I actually had the same rattle a few months back for a couple of weeks but thankfully it just went away by itself. I never fully open the sun roof but occasionally will use the tilt feature.

I have had the same issue for a few months on my 2020 Polo GTI. Mine sounds like a squeak when going over bumps or rough roads. I’ve learned to live with it. But becomes annoying when I think about it.
