• Disconnect pin T6/3 from the instrument panel illumination dimmer E20 and insulate it

• Disconnect pin T73b/4 from BCM white conector and insulate it (if the pin is already occupied)

• Make a new wire (1.0mm2) and bridge T6/3 to T73b/4

• Upload the adaptations

At the same time, I’ve been diligently studying the VW Polo 6R and VW T6 wiring diagrams as you mentioned.

Based on the diagrams, I've come up with the following procedure, but it contradicts the bridging of T6/3 and T73b/4. Will it be necessary to add this wiring with relay J602 in the next step as well?

• Disconnect pin T6/3 from the instrument panel illumination dimmer E20 and connect it to pin 1A of relay J602.

• Connect pin 2A of relay J602 to a grounding point.

• Connect pin 3A of relay J602 to terminal +30 behind a fuse (I'm not sure which fuse to choose here?).

• Connect pin 5A of relay J602 to pin T6/3 of the instrument panel illumination dimmer E20.

Well, the 6R wiring diagram you're showing isn't exactly the one for your 6R.

This is the factory wiring for your 6R 2013 (7H0 BCM Max/bixenon):

As you can see, the dimmer's power supply comes from T73b/1. This is the one you'll need to remove and insulate, along with the original T6/3.
Then install the NEW 1.0mm² wire from T73b/4 to T6/3 (7E0 BCM Max).


Regarding the T6 relay I mentioned in the previous post, from another perspective:

It seems a bit confusing, but if you know how to interpret it and follow the wire routing, asterisks, and connection points (B642) on other pages, it's perfect.

You should take the +30 signal under the fuse from your fuse box.
You'll work your magic and create a new one.
Look at the installation guide you downloaded you might find some inspiration.
Note:
You requested one of my installation guides, and I gave you permission to download it... Be careful, these are guides for upgrading from BCM High to BCM Max, but you already have the BCM Max.

My recommendation:
If you're not going to install additional interior lights or other out-of-this-world devices , forget about the relay.

I thought T73b/34 is 58d output signal all along, so it makes sense now and I stand corrected.

I don't get it, but on the white BCM connector T73b, pin 1 is vacant, while pin 4 is occupied. Furthermore, T73b/4 is already connected to T6/3—I've verified this with a circuit tester.

Their mistake is your good fortune, you no longer have to install the wire...

It's here where it is highly likely that we can solve your problem.

Corrections to the adaptation channels:

-Channel 54 from value 1 to 0.
-Channel 69 from value 1 to 0.

Both must end up at 0.
Please test one channel first and check the problem, then test the other channel to determine which one was causing the issue.

I changed adaptation channel 54 from 1 to 0, but the problem persisted.
So, I changed channel 54 back from 0 to 1.
Then I changed adaptation channel 69 from 1 to 0, and the problem was solved.

Is it enough to just have adaptation channel 69 set to 0, or should I also change channel 54 to 0?
What does channel 69 actually mean, please? In my VCDS, it had no description at all.

As I already told you, Channel 54 must be at 0, your 6R is not equipped for value 1.
Channel 69 is not defined in any VCDS.

Knowledge about these adaptation channels is part of tests I did a long time ago.
