9N - What's the fastest you've driven?

Post by sylonien »

Just out of curiosity, how fast have you ever been so far with your Polo?

I was coming back from London today on the M4, pissing it down with rain, driven 3200+miles in total with my almost 2months old car, so I thought I'll floor it for a bit, went to about ~72.3mph then I lifted my foot.

Scared of a few things, the very wet road and the police. Low on fuel too.

:P

Generally, we're not too keen in these sorts of conversations in this forum. It damages the reputation of the site (which we've *all* worked hard to build) and could, potentially, put the posters into a difficult legal position.

It's been ages since one cropped up and with with many new members on the board recently (yay!) it was bound to happen again sooner or later.

So, please, can everyone treat this is a gentle reminder.

Cheers,

Deek.

LOL Thats is very true. But somehow it should be ok to speak of top speed on this forum if you take your car to a private track.

Am i correct? :?:

Is that a standard thing on the Polo or something extra? ^

@Wai_Mak - I was just thinking the same thing actually. Well I thought of it after I've been told that. :( What if I went to Santa Pod or something like that? :P
