On that note, I have to agree with you Mr. GT_Hatch. An '80's Supra was the first car I bought on (the now old skool) GT. Still have it at the top of my garage putting out silly power for what it is.
Karl.
Im in a similar position - Looked last night and I havent done any of the 10-race events on the pro league. Which leaves me at around 65% having done everything else, which just goes to show what all those tournaments count for! 30 laps is crazy. The longest tournament on any of the other games totalled 50 or so laps - A good hours worth of gaming there. But that last tournament would take all day and probably be really difficult as all the cars are the same.Karl_CLCoupe wrote:Ahhh, that means I'm gonna have a bit longer to plough through GTA. This has been on my wish list for ages! Shame theres no news of a G40 (which mysteriously vanished in GT2). There is one thing I hope they get rid of, as even I can't be bothered with them (yet I can be bothered to stay up all night doing enduro races), and thats the F1 championships that are 10 lots of 30 lap races. I just can't be bothered with them, hence my GT3 game data remains, and will probabaly always remain at 93%. Looks to me like they've polished off the texture mapping very well, and some of the cars from Prologue and Concept (the interim jobbies before GT4) have made it into the game, as well as the ones we know and love.

Yeah thats why I said it! You get an extra 5% or something like that. Which is nice.Karl_CLCoupe wrote:On the oil note... Did you know that if you change the oil on a car straight away after modifying it (before putting any race mileage on the clock), you can gain up to 10bhp? Ofcourse forget to change your oil and you lose power. Just a little secret I remember. I suppose while I'm here...
Yep, GT3, same game as Karl was referring to. There is a car on GT2 with more horses than the escudo. A HKS dragster or two. One was a skyline, cant remember what the other one was. Both with over 1000hpTahrey1043 wrote:that's GT3, right?
the escudo in GT2 was good for about 998hp..... still the most completely mental car in the game. Handled like an angel. If it was real, the engine would have to be rebuilt after every race however!
Yeah theyre on GT2. Not seen anything like that on GT3. I said GT2 on my original post anyway about these cars. The other one could well have been a nissan 200 or 300 but I cant remember - hade HUGE rear wheels though (still inside the arches)polopowah wrote:im pretty sure it was a nissan 200sx, the skyline was black and green right? or am i thinking of Gt2Gareth_GT_Hatch wrote:One was a skyline, cant remember what the other one was.
