this morning on the way into work I was coasting in traffic with the clutch down, when I let it back up in first or second gear and tried to accelerate, there was no power and it almost stalled! occasionally the idle speed would drop too.
it was a bit intermittent so I had to give it about 3000 rpm and kangaroo away! About half the times I tried to press the accelerator even slightly it would seem to cut the power (in the same way as dipping the clutch would)
this happened in all gears, even when i got it up to 60mph
this first started after about a mile, continued for the next 6, and then miraculously sorted itself out for the last mile into work.
Just tried it again at lunchtime and it idled fine, seemed to be working as normal although I didn't have time to take it for a spin.
I'm guessing something like the mass air flow sensor or something else electronic playing up / loose connections? Coil?
Anyone had anything like this before? and where is the MAF so I can try disconnecting it?
hope someone can help, it really was quite gutless! More than just a single spark plug not firing.
