Is this a GTI Front Splitter ? Or just a mk5 one ?

It should be a GTi splitter - I think they were the only Polo 5s to be fitted with one as standard...

Theres a post relating to this in the VAGParts section - IIRC Martyn can't deliver these, as they are a bit large. Last time I heard, they were cheaper from your local stealer, at about £40 or so all in. I don't know the part number though :? perhaps Martyn can help?

the gti front is about £35 from a stealer. the part No. is 6N0 805 903 E

I have a feeling it might be a standard splitter.

Reasons:

The areas highlighted in red look like they have small "fins" on them. As far as I can remember the GTi splitter doesnt have these "fins", that area is all smooth on the GTi version.

Also in general it doesnt seem big enough to be a GTi one. Not easy to tell off that picture though.

Hmm...you have me doubting myself but I'm sure that my spoiler has what you have identified as fins! The last time I look under there I'm sure I noticed those cos I was thinking, damn that look hard to get off! Will have to have another gander when I'm better!

right its not a gti splitter, i have a gti splitter and its not got that ridge that runs along the bottom. its flat underneath and snooth!!

I have a GTi spoiler on my 6n2 and as he said above it aint got the ridge under neath so it aint GTi. By the way i paid £30 for mine brand new!

i ordered a gti front splitter on friday n i'm picking it up on tues so wen i get it i'll put a pic up of if 2 compare!
