So nobody else thought it was just a bit rubbish and a complete let-down then??

I thought it was just so predictable it hurt!! It didn't scare me because i knew that every room i went into there was going to be a baddy!! I read the reviews on amazon and it seems that people are split between those who like the brand name 'doom', and those who appreciate games for playability over all-out graphics. Just my opinion!!

The only 2 games i've been genuinely scared by are avp fighting against the aliens (cos they are soo bloody fast!!), and system shock 2 (cos of the amazingly eerie and real atmosphere!!)

I thought it was ok, looks nice and made me jump when I first played it but the novelty wore off quickly.

The gameplay's REALLY repetative and the enemies aren't that intelligent.

My copy of Half Life 2 has been shipped today however, now that will be good :)

Ive got HL2 and Doom 3, I think both are brilliant games but I wish Half life lasted abit longer. And yes I do jump with Doom, the atmosphere it creates is superb!

Ive got...

AMD Sempron 3ghz
1GB pc3200 DDR ram
A7N8X-X motherboard
256mb FX5600XT card

Runing both games on highest graphics.

I love the water on HL2!
