Another Polo 6N with an audi TT engine and a fappin big front mounted intercooler, Check this out:

Taking longer than expected, was going to abandon the project as my wife expecting at the end of febuary, however the engine is mounted using the same golf engine mounts as on the german website.
Had immbobilser problems as I had a mk3 golf immobiliser fitted instead of the mk 4 golf Clocks. However as my polo is a 1998 the polo clocks wont work anyway. So wasted a lot of time!
Been chasing breakers yards for bits however as I'm using an AGU engine, second hand parts are hard to find as they only used this engine form 1998-2000.
Had some good news though, just ordered all remaining parts form 1999 golf GTI, including air intake sensor complete wiring loom including fuse box ECU dash board clocks ignition barrell keys coil pack amplifyer and the gear selector with selector cables and counter balance for £500.00
(on a tight budget)
Game on!

Game on!
BIG BOX OF GOODIES ARRIVED! All the remaining parts have arrived today. Wifes not happy as its all over the dining room. (although not as bad as when she found my rocker cover in the dishwasher!)
I now have a full wiring loom from a golf GTI includng the battery fuse box, fuse box, ECU, Clocks, Ignition barell, key (posh flick out one!) Air intake sensor, Altitued sensor, Coil pack amplifyer, charcoal canister, remote central locking box, gear shift assembly and cables and lovely leather gearknob. Could even fit hated seats now! (toasty)
All for £500
Now to find out where everything goes!
Total cost of conversion now £1300.00
wont cost more than £1500.00 when complete.
