i've seen velcrow used! always useful if you wanna put a flashy numberplate on for shows! E.G UK-POLOS.NET
now that would be snaz!
what i have also heard of is people smoothing there current number plate recess (9n) and using some sorta expanding clip which holds on the lower grill! again, nice for shows cause u can just take ur numberplate off and go for the "clean" look!

What he saidJosh_PoloGTi wrote:The adhesive pads are the only things I've ever used to put numberplates on. They're fine. They last for years!
Before I put my new plates on, the originals were held on with adhesive pads, and they lasted close to 10 years, as the car had had the same plates from new.

Might not last the distance but good thick sewing cotton/polyester mights if you can thieve some when she (whoever it might be gran, mum, sister, girfriend or wife) aren't looking - I fly a couple of kites on it in light winds or indoors (sports halls before someone makes any comments) - it stands up to quite a lot of abusecarmadaaron wrote:wuld dental floss do......?

Stuck on far better than mine was then!!
Went out the one day not too long after buying the car, parked up somewhere, found my plate was missing when i came out of a shop.. went mental looking for it.. only for it to turn up sitting in the middle of the road about 100 yards from home. Picked it up, turned round and went back to halfords
Pretty sure it was the original as it still had the dealer's name and old 021 phone number on..
