coupe s at the scrapper

Post by D4V1D »

hello everyone.
theres a orangey red S at the scrap yard near me and just wondering if anyone needs/wants any parts?
at the moment its got:
clocks
3 spoke steering wheel (altho horn push isnt in it, could be on the floor ill have a looksy next time)
arch kit
engine (dont know if carb or head would be any better for a normal polo???)
red/black interior but the drivers seat isnt pretty.
and then all the normal stuff a polo has. apart from the grill.
hopefully going back this friday so if any body wants me to pick them up the parts then i dont mind. then itll be what ever the item costs plus p&p.
cheers,
dave

I wouldn't mind the clocks, providing they look in decent working order (particularly no scorching around the connectors), and your scrappy isn't too much of a rip off ;) If they're about a tenner or less, I'd be grateful if you'd nab them for me :) Otherwise I'll just stick to hacking up golf gti clocks, but they're a bit of a pain because they don't have a brake warning light and the full beam light is a particularly un-eyecatching shade of yellow :?
Cheers :)

Cheers :D If it's a tenner or less nab it for me.. I'd call anything under £20 a reasonable price, but I'm skint and don't need it desperately enough to spend more than a tenner really :)

Cheers, like I said, no worry if you can't get it, I'm not too phased by using the golf clocks :)

Blimey  Never mind, guess I'm just too used to a scrappy who has four prices:

"Tenner mate."
"Fiver mate."
"Quid mate."
"Meh, 'ave it"

Guess I'll just have to get some new lights for these clocks, and find somewhere to fit the golf brake warning light that the scrappy gave me last time I visited
