im thinking of buying a mk4 and wanted to know what either a 1.0 or 1.4 8v will cost me

looking on a N or P reg

i bought a 1.4 cl openair at the weekend for £2400 it was a p reg one (1996)

depending on where you live, the prices change.

I recon thats it worth the extra money if you go for a 1.4 but thats only my opinion

From what I've heard about 2k will get you a nice N or P reg 1.4 8v... prices vary massively, go for the best you can afford.

my old one went for £1800 with 36000 on the clock! it was soooooooooo tidy!

yeah, go for the 1.4 8v CL... it wont cost too much more but is a very lively engine.... speaking from experience :D

its a group 5 insurance while the 1.0 is a group 3.
but 1.0 doesnt have any kit.... the CL trim level is best value for money! 8)
