Service Codes

Post by kr1s77 »

This may sound stupid but i have to ask it anyway.

If the in02 code is left on long enough, will it stop the vehicle from starting/running?

Also does anyone know of any VW specialists in birmingham??

Thanks

I don't think so....

You can reset it easily anyway - hold the reset button down, turn the ignition on whilst still holding it down, wait for 10 secs and it clears.

I know of a specialist near Shirley - Autovolks. Getting my door adjusted there this Friday. They're good, apparently.

I've done it, this is what i did:

Turn ignition on
Press and hold trip reset button on dash
Switch ign off
Release button
Press and release trip button (keep pressing to scroll through oel-in01-in02)
IN02 will show in the display
Press & hold clock minute button until "-----" is shown
Press trip reset button to show "IN01"
Press clock minute button to show "-----"
Repeat to reset "OEL"
Switch ign on and "IN00" should show
