golf airbox

i got the golf airbox for my 1.0l the other day and was wondering how other people have bolted them on coz my carb already has bolts in it. and the airbox has bolts in to. the bolts from the carb arent long enough to go through the airbox. im puzzled????????????????

You have to remove the bolts out of your "carb" and replace them with the ones off the Golf. To do this, you will have to lock two nuts onto the thread and use a socket to extract them.

The Golf airbox bolts will then screw into these.

And it really is that easy :-)

P.S. Don't worry if the "bolts" in your "carb" feel tight while your taking them out..this is because they have threadlock on them. Take it steady and they will come out just fine.
