I've got a Motorola v600, and I'll definitely agree with the comments on useability! Its a bit of anightmare sometimes, and the bluetooth software, and they way you have to use it to try and scan for devices, is terrible!
However it does feel nice and chunky, and has a good weight to it compared with the other competitors I was looking at at the time, the Panasonic x70 and the Samsung E700 (I think).
Anyway, if I had the choice of a new phone right now (and believe me I really do want that choice) I' d have a Sony-Ericsson (sp?) K700. Definitely definitely. The new slimline Moto looks great, but based on my experiences with the v600, its a no-go.
For reviews on mobile phones, and just about everything else you can buy as a consumer, try
www.10goldstars.com and go to the mobile phones section. I found it really useful - but only after I bought the v600!!

As for the v3, it gets mixed reviews, but mostly good ones - based around the fact that it "looks great".
