Sorry, dont know much about this, and I have tried searching!
Did the mk3 polo come with electric windows as an option? or did a particular model have them (genesis?) and if so which?
If they were standard does anyone have any pics of the switches?
Thanks.
James.

I believe some MK3s did have electric windows fitted as standard, but they were never brought over to the UK.

It was an optional dealer fitted extra. The switch panel fits in the small compartment next to the cigar lighter.

Ah, sounds good.
It's just the G40 I'm picking up has electric windows. I'm not sure where the switches are from but they are in the right place.
Does anyone have any pictures of these switches?
I wouldn't mind trying to source some and get them fitted. Unless these are the correct ones.
James.

From what hardhitter said, those are in the right place and everything. Maybe you just need a blanking plate for the part beside the switches?

I think the kits were made by a company called "electric life" if a remember correctly. They have a website as a have been on it lookin at them a good while ago, when a was considering a set. The official VAG part number for this kit is- 878VAG003 but a dont know the electric life part number, a believe it is the same set for mk3 golfs but a might be wrong! I think electric life did a set for most vdubs at that time.
You could try VAG parts on this forum to see if they can get the set or bits from it using the number above. Might be worth a try.
