Where to mount a Cd Changer & PDA/Sat Nav

Post by richardshone »

Hi Guys,

Got a new Polo Twist, well picking it up next saturday, and now get a chance to start planning where to install all the toys.

Where have people found the most suitable location to secure a multidisk player in the boot or is there space to put it elsewhere?

Also looking for suggestions (keep it clean please) as to where to mount the PDA/Sat Nav where i can see it and Easily reach it. Anyone got one?

All creative ideas welcome

hello there!

first of all the Polo 9n has a double DIN.. which means that u can mount the VW 6 disc CD changer on the dash.. below the tape player.
its v cool

for PDA... my mate mounted his on the A pillar (drivers side obviously!) and its easy to get acess but doesnt get in the way.

hope this helps

Yup you could mount it below your head-unit on the dash, but it depends what type of CD-changer you've got. You have plenty of space in the boot as well for it. (Unlike the Lupo , still managed it at the end.)

Well the Nav... how about the little space on the middle console, above the head-unit, fan blowers, know what I mean? 'cos thought :P

"Cubby box"? :P

Well why don't you be technical and mod it so that it pops-up when the lid is open? Or am I on the wrong track here? :P
