After some insurance

Post by zahir_213 »

Hi all,
Im after some insurance, need to renew my current insurance. The problem is, im nearly 19 and drive a MK5 Polo 1.9 SDI, so my quotes are not looking healthy.
Does anyone know of any insurance companies that are likely to give me a decent quote. Oh yeh I got 15" alloys on there aswell if they makes a difference.

Cheers

yeah living in the countryside (low crime rate) reduces the premium...... so move away from town!

hmmm I remember the days of 4 figure insurance premiums !

Ive got a Polo Gti with 17" wheels, lowered, BMC Filter. all my mods are declared.

£600 Fully comp + Fully Protected

(I can claim twice in 3 yrs and STILL have Full no claims)

woohooo

But i have just turned 24 yrs old, (nov), so that obviously makes a difference.

Ill edit this later and add in who im actually insured with, not quite sure at the moment.

sure like to know that insurance company aaron -- they always seem to attract extra premium when i look, even if just because of the higher physical displacement...

(yes - shop round and play the companies off each other, even if you cant bring yourself to be brutally ruthless anywhere else in life, make them work for that BIG lump of money you're going to give them - for, hopefully, no reason at all. you can knock lumps out of the figure with a hammer.)
