Got my windows tinted by tinter the best window tinter!

Hello forum i went to leicester yesterday and got my windows tinted! excellent job totally recommend!

it really makes my car! everyone should get there's done! i had 35% at the rear & 50% down the sides! and it looks superb! im going to take some pictures of my car this week and post them! id like to thank tinter and his m8 for the excellent job thanks! Dan

I hope you didn't do the door windows, as that'll make it mega illegal.

Don't you find that quite a lot of the people do the front doors regardless to law anyway?

You got the same as me done Dan. Subtle but very nice, glad somone else has appreciated the fantastic job the tinter and collegue does

i agree ... theres corsas and clios out there with 5% tints (limo) all round..

50% is still legal on the front 1s.

If the cops don't approve, they'll make you take them off...if they won't come off, I'm sure they impound your car!

In the unlikely event of being pulled over by a police car; for having tinted windows. If the police asks to test the amount of light emitting to his device and it fails, ask the police use his tester on his own car; it is also likely to fail as it is likely to be a dull day in UK. Should this happen all to plan, the police can not charge you but to apologise and tell you to have a safe journey.

Is this true?

You know I had a bad dream last night, I dreamt I had all the windows on the Polo tinted. I couldn't figure out why and I hated myself for getting them done. I was sure glad to wake up...

Not taking the p*** btw, to each their own. Just thought I'd mention it.

ha ha funny toxic! Nope i havent! how u know bout my plates!ive been stopped but they didnt pick me up for the plates it was for the blue led side lights! so the plates are cool!

You drove past me last week. You're treading a thin line with them plates, trust me. One cop might not care, but another one will come down on you like a ton of bricks.

o well why u so botherd i dont care when i got pulled i thought it was for them and he didnt even notice even tho he looked at them! he even asked me why have i got german plates on my car! its up to me what i want to put on my car and what risks i wanna take isnt it? im not the only 1 with them ive seen a 52 reg bmw m3 hes has his on since he got the car and hes still got his on seen it last week! so i dont get what ur point is! the police are more botherd bout flashy light and neons!

It takes all sorts to make a world - Alex wasn't saying he thought window tinting was crap - just that he wouldn't do it to his car.

Respect other peoples point of view - it might not be the same as yours but accept it

I wouldn't tint the windows on my car - makes it look like a drug dealer IMHO!!!!

See there you go opinions - they are just that - opinions - it's a free world (I think)

Actually Dan, I was offering you a bit of advice. I know what the police are like around here and was only trying to warn you. If you don't want my advice, then that's fine, but is there any need to go off on one about it?
