mkII going cheap

Post by minis84 »

Hi

The bloke who lives across the road from me is looking to get rid of his MkII squareback. Its E reg (1987), and looks like a limited edition, its called a Rio. Its yellow, and i'm not sure of the engine size. It's not in great condition, and seems to have a slight problem with possibly the automatic choke (if they had them?) as doesn't like to keep going once its started. To be fair though, it would probably come up great after a wash and brush up. It has 4 months tax and mot, and I think all he wants for it is the cost of the tax (so about 50 quid, maybe less).

Would anyone be interested? Or is it just better to scrap it? It is located in the Derby area.

Thanks in advance

Tom
