Rear Shock Absorbers.

My 2003 New Polo S 1.4 makes a light clonking noise from the rear when going over uneven ground (I've had the creaking front suspension sorted out) and seems to be coming from the plastic covers on the rear shock absorbers moving about, they feel really floppy. Anyone else had this? Maybe there's a mod to cure this.

Yes, my car had the same problem. Your dealer has to fit new ones. I had them for free because my car is still in warranty. It's a common problem.

Thanks. Mine is still under warranty so I'll commence battle with my VW dealer.
