Need For Speed Underground 2

Post by wul3er »

Had this game for a while now although not played it much cos the ps2 was in the car, but over the past few days i have a had a wee go.

And today i got a new steering wheel, so for all that like the game its double as good with a Steering wheel (and pedals).

Just thought i'd share that with you's

I prefer the controller meself, old school stylee using the D-Pad. NSFU2 is great though - only one VW though (Golf 4) and none of the kits suit it - you get less points for euro-smooth

I have a tricked up 106 as my main powerhouse  with all the carbon bits n bobs (and 330bhp  ) - I've been playing this game for a few hours each day since Boxing Day and still have only managed 60% completion...

Recommended if you're into you're driving games like myself :D and especially rewarding when you pull off a 50,000 point drift down a mountain road weaving through oncoming traffic!

I have to agree NFSU2 is sweet! I had it pre ordered so it arrived on ma doorstep on the day of release. My Xbox never seemed to be off but now ive lost interest although im about 75% complete.

yeh i was disappointed, the bigger & most obscure the spoiler the better in their opinion. But great game anyway!

in the first underground game i had my rides, whatever they may be which i painted black on shiney rims

then cos i had to put decals on to get style points, i did - i just painted them black too lol

I bought an SUV earlier on NSFU2 - its like a big bruising tank of a thing to drive round :( although on the other hand I need one for SUV races I have found out!

As for the cars, well theres the 106 rocket, carbon bits, pearlescent grey and chrome wheels (chrome wheels on all of 'em like 13twelve lol). Then a TT which is mildly tweaked, no bodykit cos they're all horrible looking on it :P an externally-standard Mitsi Evo with the internals all maxed up, a kitted Eclipse (atm all show no go) and finally the SUV bruiser, a Caddy Escalade. Think I get one more car after the current sponsor...?

Come to think of it. When i first got the game i could hear the engine sound from the Inside car view.

I have had the music off all the way through the game.

But now i cant hear the engine sound from inside the car, only the 2 view outside it. I have looked at the options and everythings fine.
Has anyone else had this happen to them and what did they do to fix it.

On mine, I have the music off. Using the view from inside the car, the sound of the engine is greatly muted, but still just about audible. Normal sound from both external views. Check the audio settings in the main menu?

The 106 was smallest and lightest, therefore had the best potential from the start - the 240SX was very tempting though - rwd 8)

I think I've just completed the game - ran the last available race and got a nice cut scene etc for my reward. Nice little message too saying well done on completing the game. No money to be made now - what am I gonna do with my half modded eclipse?

Game status reads 62% - do I have to do all the single player quick races too? I still haven't got widebody kits :?

Thats a bit crap that it says game complete after 62%

I think i'll just do loads of outruns while i can then. Anyone else got that far.

At what point to you get the skyline. Once i have that that'll be me happy. lol

Actually I just found widebody kits as part of the customisable options on the main menu

Outruns are ace, you can do 'em any time. As for the Skyline I think that was one of the last cars to become available when I unlocked Coal Harbor East.
