top left is the tool to remove the wheel centres
then below that a screw driver that you can pull the shaft out of to get + or -
then at the bottom you have a spanner
in the centre is the jack and to the right of that the the towing eye (reverse thread) and then far right the lug removing tool
now if your talking about tyhe gap in between the jack and the towing eye then id imagine a roll of cloth as ive seen this on some oem spec german cars (registered in germany) then theres a position for an anti theft wheel nut but im not sure if its between the screw driver and the jack or above the towing eye

The hexagonal slot at the top right is for the locking nut.

My Melbornes came wrapped in Dunlop rubbers.

The first Polos made in Brazil had firestones across the range. Some time in 3rd quarter 2002 VW switched to Pirelli.

The most basic Polos are equipped with P6000s (185/55HR14 I think). Range-topping Sedans have something else but I'm sure what (they're Pirellis too, though).

About the toolbox, my car did come with the actual box, but without the spanner or the screwdriver. Are those standard in every car? (and specifically in vwpower's Polo which was probably imported from here)

Actually my "full sized" spare came with Dunlops too

All of that was standard. Which reminds me the jack isn't seated properly.

My Melbournes came with Dunlops as standard too. Though I now have much better handling (and looking) 195/50 toyos 8)

I thought 15/16" wheels were now fitted with Bridgestones on new Polos though :?
